ùrlar is Calum Smith, a web developer in Australia. If you have a question about your information, email hello@urlar.co and I’ll answer it.
Only what you give me. When you fill in a form or email me, that’s your name, email address, phone number if you add one, your business name and website, and whatever you write about the job. If you sign up to Site Care, it also includes where your site is hosted and the logins needed to move it.
Replying to you, quoting, doing the work and invoicing for it. Nothing goes on a mailing list, and nothing is sold or shared for marketing.
A form submission is saved on this website, emailed to me, and added to the ùrlar app, the software I use to track jobs. Those run on hosting and email providers, and some of them may store data outside Australia. Logins you send for a migration are used for that job and not kept in email.
This site doesn’t use advertising or tracking cookies. If you log in to the site, WordPress sets the cookies it needs to keep you logged in, and nothing else.
For as long as the work needs it, and for as long as the law requires business records to be kept. Enquiries that don’t go anywhere are deleted when they’re no longer useful.
Email hello@urlar.co and ask. You can see what I hold, correct it, or have it deleted where I’m not required to keep it. If you’re not happy with the answer, you can contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner.
